Outer Awareness is the step that I have seen so many people have problems with on the bigger OECs out there… Mostly from what I have seen due to people poorly explaining it to the beginners of energy work and such… So I am going to attempt to explain it as well as I can… I do hope that you get some use out of this guide.

 

Now then, I want you to get into a basic meditative state for the start of this though later on you should be able to passively do this, but it’s best to have a clear head at the start. Now then, the first thing you have to do, I want you to meditate on your energy for a few minutes, get that all well and done. Open your eyes and look at the nearest object in the sight. Try to well, feel it, it may be odd at first but your goal is to feel it as if you are touching it. Of course, it’s more than possible for imagination to contribute to this, but attempt to avoid that.

 

Okay, moving on, the first step was mostly to get you to get the starting idea of what you’ll be doing. Next you’ll start off with feeling the air around you, how does it feel? How about the surface you are sitting on? What about any small vibrations from outside of you? Meditate on this for awhile. Now, focus on one specific thing, and similar as to how you feel your energy, which, you should understand such pretty well by now. -Feel it, almost as if expanding your mind into the object, you can use your own awareness of your body to help push this along by “feeling” your awareness of a limb extending out of the limb.
